Strategy for tenders under the EEG 2023​

As part of HDF's market entry in Germany and the associated project development, cruh21 developed a partnering strategy for the client and identified potential cooperation opportunities. Thanks to its strong network in the energy sector, cruh21 facilitated initial direct discussions.The goal was to find complementary partners for the construction of hydrogen power plants in Germany based on HDF's product portfolio. The EEG 2023 allows for tenders of 4.4 GW each for hydrogen hybrid and sprint power plants until 2028. The first tenders were announced for the first half of 2024. However, according to the published key points of the power plant strategy, currently only a total of 500 MW is planned for the hydrogen sprint power plants mentioned in the EEG within the framework of energy research.
