Workshop by cruh21 on the occasion of the Drees & Sommer Talent Days

Last week, Drees & Sommer hosted the Talent Days, a two-day event that began its second day with an inspiring session led by Barbara Mai. She introduced cruh21, the consulting firm for energy transformation. This presentation kicked off an intensive 1.5-hour workshop attended by 24 enthusiastic participants.

The workshop focused on the Coaching Matrix developed by Dr. Petra Bock, a valuable tool in coaching used to identify short- and long-term goals, create clarity, provide orientation, and develop new action perspectives. This matrix is structured into several systematic steps:

  1. Situation Analysis: The initial step involves assessing the current status quo. What resources are available, what challenges exist, and what measures have been taken so far? This comprehensive analysis forms the foundation for the subsequent steps.

  2. Goal Clarification and Definition: Based on the situation analysis, specific goals are formulated. It clarifies what exactly needs to be achieved and sets priorities. This phase is crucial for providing clear direction and boosting motivation.

  3. Resource Clarification and Strengthening: This step determines which resources (e.g., skills, networks, materials) are needed to achieve the goals and how they can be strengthened or mobilized. The aim is to optimally utilize existing resources and identify any deficiencies.

  4. Strategy Development: Finally, a strategy is developed to achieve the defined goals. This involves planning concrete steps and measures that pave the way to success. This step also includes identifying potential obstacles and developing solutions.

After a refreshing and dynamic stretching session on the terrace, much to the delight of colleagues on floors 2 to 7 in LES 1, the participants dedicated themselves to the work with full energy. Through the systematic application of the Coaching Matrix, participants gained new perspectives on their individual questions and took away valuable coaching impulses for their everyday work as future consultants.

Barbara Mai expressed her heartfelt thanks to the 24 fantastic participants, whose active participation and openness contributed to the success of the workshop. The Talent Days at Drees & Sommer thus provided a platform not only for professional exchange but also for personal and professional development.
