Successful MOHN Project Webinar with Lead Stakeholders

On Tuesday, we hosted a successful MOHN project webinar and are now delighted to present the progress and lessons learnt in the field of offshore hydrogen development. The event focussed on the transnational results of the MOHN project, which brought together North Sea countries including Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Denmark, Norway and Belgium.

The Programme: Updates on the MOHN project

We began with a detailed overview of the current status quo in these countries to lay the groundwork for our discussion. Meiko Neumann and Meryem Maghrebi from cruh21 then presented the identified success factors as well as the barriers affecting the ramp-up of the offshore hydrogen industry. This analytical insight formed the starting point for further discussions during the webinar.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of six strategic workstreams. Each of these workstreams is made up of bundled measures aimed at overcoming obstacles and creating cross-border synergies. These targeted approaches are designed to drive the offshore hydrogen industry forward and promote sustainable development.

Review and Outlook for the MOHN Project

Special thanks go to our lead stakeholders, including AHK Norway/German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, Norsk Hydrogenforum, Net Zero Technology Centre, TNO, German-Danish Chamber of Commerce and AquaVentus, who were instrumental in the success of this event. Through their participation, it was possible to gather relevant stakeholders in on-site workshops, which contributed to an effective and constructive discussion. We are optimistic that the insights and strategic approaches gained will help to sustainably strengthen and advance the offshore hydrogen industry.
