TransHyDE Project: Successful Inauguration of the Hydrogen Test Bench at RMA Rheinau GmbH & Co. KG

The official inauguration of the hydrogen test bench at RMA Rheinau GmbH & Co. KG took place yesterday. On this special day, Jimmie Langham, Managing Director of cruh21, had the honor of delivering the opening speech.

Developed as part of the TransHyDE project "Secure Infrastructure", the hydrogen test bench was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). This groundbreaking technological innovation contributes significantly to the advancement of the hydrogen economy.

On June 29, 2023, distinguished guests and experts gathered in Rheinau to celebrate the official inauguration of the test bench. The event began with a press conference at 2:00 PM and culminated in the actual opening at 3:00 PM. Andreas Truttenbach, Managing Director and Partner of RMA Rheinau GmbH & Co. KG, hosted the program.

The presence of Federal Minister of Research Bettina Stark-Watzinger was particularly pleasing. She delivered an inspiring greeting and emphasized her commitment to promoting hydrogen technology. Additionally, exciting presentations were given by representatives of the TransHyDE project and the Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), highlighting the importance of a secure infrastructure for the hydrogen economy.

On the following day, June 30, 2023, lectures and workshops on hydrogen and measurement technology took place. Experts from various fields shared their profound knowledge and contributed to a productive discussion. These intense conversations and the exchange of expertise were highly valuable for the advancement of the industry. The inauguration of the hydrogen test bench marks a significant milestone on our path towards a sustainable and future-proof energy economy.
