Post-Event Report: WindEnergy 2024 in Hamburg
The WindEnergy 2024 in Hamburg offered four days, from September 23rd to 26th, filled with intense discussions, innovative presentations, and inspiring encounters. This event once again established itself as a central meeting point for the energy industry. Particularly noteworthy this year was the increased presence of the hydrogen economy, clearly demonstrating that the worlds of wind energy and hydrogen are increasingly converging. Hydrogen has become an indispensable part of the energy transition discussion.
The hydrogen ramp-up was omnipresent at the fair. Numerous exhibitors showcased pioneering technologies and projects that underscored the potential of hydrogen as the energy carrier of the future. It became evident that the combination of wind energy and hydrogen production offers a promising solution for decarbonizing the industry and transport sectors. The synergies between these two fields were a central theme in many expert lectures and discussions.
Women in the Energy Transition: Valuable Exchange at TotalEnergies
A highlight of the fair was the get-together of the women of new energies e.V., where cruh21 was also a member and Barbara Mai, actively participated as a board member. The evening at TotalEnergies was particularly valuable. The patron and president of the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE) delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion in the energy transition. The exchange among the participants was marked by expertise and the shared goal of actively and sustainably shaping the energy transition.
We took the opportunity to present our expertise in transformation processes and our concrete solutions for companies in the renewable energy sector. Topics such as communication, feasibility, transformation, as well as permitting procedures and due diligence were intensively discussed and met with great interest.
We look forward to integrating the impulses and contacts gained at WindEnergy 2024 into our work at cruh21 and actively shaping the energy transition.
