With the federal election on the horizon, the evening's conversations centered on one urgent question: What political and regulatory steps must be taken now to secure a climate-neutral industrial future for Germany? Under the banner “Energy Future – but With a Plan”, BEE President Simone Peter delivered a compelling message: the energy transition won’t succeed without clear frameworks, investment security, and courageous leadership.
Key figures such as Kerstin Andreae (BDEW), Carsten Schneider (State Minister), Giles Dickson (WindEurope), and Alexander Bercht (Agora Energiewende) joined the dialogue. Together, they highlighted the need for systemic change – from market design and infrastructure to public acceptance.
cruh21, as part of Drees & Sommer, was on site with project partners who are actively driving forward integrated energy systems – from permitting processes and stakeholder engagement to hydrogen infrastructure. Our mission: not only to accompany transformation but to enable it strategically. Whether as project enablers, regulatory advisors, or sector connectors – we deliver expertise where vision meets implementation.
The energy transition is no longer a goal for the future – it’s a process happening now. And this process needs people with expertise, resolve, and the courage to connect across sectors.
A big thank you to the BEE team for creating a space that reinforces exactly that spirit. The future of energy starts here.
