EEHH Summer Festival: cruh21 at StrandPauli

Northern Germany plays a central role in the expansion of sustainable power generation and transmission. The Erneuerbare Energien Hamburg Cluster (EEHH), founded in 2010, promotes networking and information of stakeholders in the field of renewable energy systems. Renewable energy is the driving force behind sector coupling, hydrogen use and the energy transition, while Hamburg has developed particular expertise in onshore and offshore wind energy. That is why we are all the more pleased to have been invited to the EEHH's summer party on 24 August.

Networking: cruh21 at StrandPauli

At StrandPauli, one of the nicest bars in the heart of St. Pauli, various actors of the EEHH partners met. The cluster comprises about 250 companies in areas such as finance, research, production and project development. Representatives of the BWE Landesverband Hamburg, the Stiftung Offshore-Windenergie (Offshore Wind Energy Foundation) and many others were present. Since 2021, the EEHH has also been expanding to include the cruh21's heart topic, green hydrogen, which is why it is particularly exciting for us to be there. With cool drinks and interesting conversations, people exchanged ideas and made new contacts on St. Pauli.

Exciting Pitches and Input from the Renewable Energy Sector

However, there was more than just chatting, inspiring pitches were also on the agenda. Amelie Krahl and Carsten Corino from SunOyster presented innovative solar trackers and talked about the importance of solar energy. Patrick Hollstein and Andre Hessling from the Fairplay TOWAGE group told us about their maritime services and impressed us with a tugboat demonstration. From cruh21, Communications Lead Hanna Naoumis and Senior Consultant Barbara Mai listened eagerly and left the event with new, exciting input. We would like to thank the EEHH for the great organisation and are already looking forward to the next meeting!
