cruh21 at women@gascade-Event in Kassel

On June 12, 2025, the women@gascade event took place in Kassel – a sector gathering that went far beyond the usual technical discussions.
Around 100 women from the hydrogen and energy industry came together: representatives from GASCADE, RWE, SEFE, Gasunie, ESWE, the Federal Network Agency, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), and many other organizations shared their experiences, perspectives, and goals.

Barbara Mai attended as a participant, bringing a dual perspective – from her work on strategic hydrogen projects and from her commitment to greater visibility, diversity, and impact for women in the energy sector.

"What we are experiencing is not just a technological shift. It is a societal transformation," Barbara Mai reflected after the event.
A statement that resonated throughout the day – especially through the contributions of Anabel Ternès von Hattburg, who powerfully highlighted the deep interconnection between the energy transition and societal change.

The event made one thing clear:

Networks like women@gascade are more than platforms for exchange – they are spaces where trust grows, responsibility becomes visible, and new impulses reach the industry.

We need these kinds of formats to empower women in a targeted way, to connect them, and to give them a stage – especially in times of accelerated transformation.

At cruh21, we see ourselves as an active part of this change.
Our presence at the event reflects our commitment:
We don’t just work on strategies, studies, and projects – we actively shape the cultural transformation the energy sector urgently needs. Diversity, leadership, and collaboration are not side issues for us – they are prerequisites for true future viability.

We thank GASCADE for the invitation and excellent organization – and we look forward to continuing this exchange with partners from across our network.
