Meiko Neumann
Meiko Neumann joined the management team of cruh21 GmbH in August 2022.
Meiko Neumann has previously managed offshore wind development projects in Germany, the UK and Taiwan and brings 12 years of experience in related processes such as permitting, grid connection security and auctions, engineering, supply chain and innovation management. He has witnessed first-hand the rapid maturation and growth of the offshore industry as a result of rapidly decreasing production costs and increasing direct marketing, and has seized the opportunities for the projects entrusted to him. A good example of this is the success of the Kaskasi OWF, currently under construction, in the second German grid auction, which Meiko Neumann helped to launch. Meiko Neumann expects similar leaps in the hydrogen market and wants to help the determined market players to succeed.
Meiko Neumann studied industrial engineering in Karlsruhe, Germany, and later completed a part-time MBA in European Utility Management. He gained his professional experience during the first five years in photovoltaics at Conergy AG, followed by more than seven years as assistant to the board and corporate developer of the network companies at swb AG.
